Bush
Pest Control is a fourth generation family owned business. In 1965
my great grandfather Richard Bush started servicing customers in
the East St. Louis, Il. metro area.
Performing
pest control in the evening and on weekends, while working his day
job. He went on for several years building his business until in
1968 when he turned the business over to his son , my grandfather,
Leonard Bush Sr.
My
grandfather worked at his new pest control business while
also working full time on the railroad.
The
business grew over the next several years and required my
grandfather to purchase a second vehicle (the van that you see in
the picture). This allowed his son, my father, Leonard Bush II to
service their customers during the day while my grandfather worked
on the railroad.
In
1976 my grandfather turned the business over to my father. My dad
turned the one man operation into a multi-million dollar business.
Servicing several counties and dozens of cities in East St. Louis
area.
In
1992 at the age of 36 my dad decided to retire to Florida, and
moved his family to Homosassa. But not long after moving here he
grew bored and decided he wanted back into the business he loves.
As I
write this, we have been in business for almost 4 years, and
now have 1000's of customers, over 20 employees, and service six
counties.
Our
hard work and our dedication to our customers is what has made us
the fasting growing pest control company in the area.
